Many times in the past, I’ve submitted pictures for contests, and then never hear anything from them again. I like entering them, forced motivation can be good for me sometimes. A friend passed me the note card for the Chop Zuey Girl – Summer 2012 contest and it looked like a ton of fun. I entered 2 pictures, and really enjoyed styling around the jewelry and taking the pictures. Yesterday I received word that I (along with the friend who referred me) am among the top 16 finalists! The judges will announce the winner and 1st runner-up this Sunday. There is also a People’s Choice award that anyone can vote for, so go to the Chop Zuey store and check out all the gorgeous finalists and vote for your favorite, you can vote one time per day until Sunday. And while you’re there, check out the jewelry they have to offer, there are some very unique pieces unlike anything else I’ve seen.
