This is Weslyn, she’s shown up in my blog before, but never quite like this. On Saturday morning, my darling Sebastian patiently talked me through making Weslyn over into the sweet 3 yr old you see above.  The process was anything but smooth, but there were a lot of laughs.  For anyone who complains about child avs having big heads, or looking weird; I challenge you to try it.  I probably put more work into the look of this avatar than any of the other avi’s I’ve made in the past. Forget matching feet, I had to match my whole body to my head, and I’ll tell you, ankles are easier to cover than necks!  I tried quite a few shape demos before landing on this one, including one that gave me the most giant head imaginable (( I still think part of the issue was Sebby’s camera angle, but he claims no. Click here to see )) So, while she may not be everyone’s cup of tea, I’m proud of how she came together, and I have a whole new respect for the kid community!
