This starts a new blog series for me.. In an effort to spark creativity and motivation, I’m doing a Podcast blog series.  The pictures will loosely nod to the podcast or some aspect thereof.

My Favorite Murder has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. I started listening a few months after they started, though I went back and started from the beginning. Comedians, Georgia Hardstark and Karen Kilgariff, realized their mutual afinity for discussing true crime and started this podcast to talk about their ‘favorite’ cases. (I use ‘favorite’ here loosely, they don’t murders, or murderers… in fact, much of their retelling focuses more on the victim, and getting more information out on them)

MFM is full of one line quotes that have been embraced by their followers and many pieces of merch have been created in their honor.  I have a mug that has most of the lines on it, including some of my favorites: “Triflers need not apply” “Non consensual suicide, you know, like murder” “You’re in a cult, call your dad” “Let’s sit crooked and talk straight” and “Here’s the thing: Fuck everyone”
