Remember last year when we all shared our ‘digits’ last year? Strawberry Singh has asked again,  what are your digits? This time, in reference to mesh, and how it has affected ones personal shape.  She asked the following questions:

1. How has the introduction of mesh affected your SL, if at all? Are you open to wearing mesh often or do you still shy away from it? 

 I wasn’t exactly an ‘early adopter’ of mesh.  Not that I wouldn’t have liked to be, but at the time, I coulnd’t run a mesh viewer and take pictures.  Taking pictures was more important to me, but for christmas, I got a new video card and was able to have both.  I wear mesh constantly now, I still wear the occasional non mesh shirt, but for the most part my wardrobe is mesh. 

1. Have you changed your shape to fit into mesh? If so, did you go bigger or smaller?

 While my shape has changed drastically since April of 2011, I can hardly blame the mesh. I found that with my old shape, I had to change very little to fit into a size M top and S or XS pants quite comfortably. With my new shape I still wear a M shirt and S pants – what can I say, I like boobs.

1. Do you think the mesh deformer will resolve a lot of the issues people seem to have with mesh and will it encourage you to wear mesh more often, if you don’t already?

I hope that the deformer will lessen the fear some people still hold on to when thinking about mesh. I think that at this point, even before the deformer, you don’t have to sacrifice your ‘look’ or self to wear mesh. I’ve seen fuller avatars wearing mesh, and the result is gorgeous, whereas, non mesh clothing textures would tend to stretch badly and take away from the over all look.
