I’m late! but I decided to try Strawberry Singh’s Monday Meme – The Book Meme:

1. Are you a bookworm? – Completely. I have my Kindle app on every electronic device I own, and am nearly always in the middle of something.
2. Which do you prefer: hardcover, paperback or electronic? – Electronic at this point.
3. Which book is your favorite? – Jodi Picoult is my favorite writer, and Second Glance is my favorite of hers. I don’t know that I can pick an actual favorite book ever, but that one is definitely close/
4. Which children’s book is your favorite? – I read A Taste of Blackberries for the first time in 4th grade, and I read it at least 16 times after that.
5. What’s the last book you’ve read? – I’m currently reading Following My Fathers Dreams
6. Name your top five favorite writers: – Jodi Picoult, Suzanne Collins, JK Rowling, Jenny Lawson, Alvah Simon
7. Name a book that had a strong impact on you: – Change of Heart
8. Favorite & least favorite book genres? – I try just about anything, but I prefer fast paced books and I’m a sucker for a twist ending.
9. Favorite & least favorite book-to-movie adaptions? – Least Fave – My Sister’s Keeper. The movie ending COMPLETELY changed the whole feeling of the book. In fact at the end of the movie, I yelled at the tv something to the effect of “you can’t tell me how this ends!” and re-read the end of the book.  Fave – I’ve been really impressed with the Hunger Games movies, I feel like they have done a really good job of conveying the books.
10. Have you ever bought a book based on the cover alone? – Not that I recall
11. Where do you usually buy your books? – Almost completely through amazon now. I feel guilty for the fall of the bookstores nearby lol
12. Do you go to the library? – Not like I used to.
13. How many books do you own? – Hundreds.
14. If you were to write a book about Second Life, which topic would you focus on? Oh, I’m only good at reading, I can’t write for shit.
