Hai Friends! So, I’ve been gone a while.. Clearly. It’s been almost 6 years since I was last fully into Second Life. Everything has changed, and also, nothing has changed. Firestorm messed up my phototools, and I’ve lost all my sky settings along with the memory of how to make it not default to shared environment.

What this has turned into is me being 19yrs old in world and also a complete noob who can’t remember how to take off appliers and didn’t even know PrimFeed was a thing. So, I’m back – I’ve found my happy place (#polycule) and I’m [attempting to] taking pics again! I just wish I had my old shadow sliders back.

So – on to the post! Since I’ve been back, I’ve been exploring a lot, seeing how old favorite places have evolved, and which are just memories now. I stumbled on an old blog post from September of 2010, where I was celebrating that Elikapeka Tiramisu was back creating. I have been a fan of Elika’s hair since I first found my way to the grid. Back then she was ETD, and it was the biggest store I’d ever seen, just walls and walls of fun styles and bright colors. I showed the differences between my avatar when I started in 2007, and then 2010… so here we are in 2026, and imagine my surprise when Elikatira is now clothes, not hair!! Once I got over my shock, I bought basically the whole store.

In both pics above, I am wearing Elika hair and Canimal tops, and in 2010, the jacket is from fri.day and jewelry from Zaara, so my updated style includes my outfit from Elikatira and shoes from Fri.day, and earrings & purse from Zaara. Since I didn’t have an updated hair from Elikatira, I went with another old favorite, Tram!
